First Big Silver of 2005

Hey everybody,
First post of the year. We just got some snow two days ago. But it is melting and the ground is thawed in many places; warm enough now that I don't think it will refreeze and hopefully by the end of the week it will all be digable.
Snuck out for a half hour this evening. Worked some boulevards in the neighborhood. Typical- lots of modern trash and power lines overhead, couldn't run much above the high teens sensitivity wise. Managed a few wheats and then got a real pretty signal. Followed the periscope to the target and felt a large disc in my hand. Was dark enough to only be able to verify it was a walker.
Also snagged the boy scout ring and a couple of trolley/bus tokens.
Got a million sites that I have permission for but didn't hit last year because of dry conditions. Time for some serious swinging. If I could only find my back-up battery.
Chris
