Went to a local park today that has been hit pretty hard but had a lot of civil war action. I have only pulled out one CW bullet at this park, most of the goodies that are left are 10 to 12 inches deep. Somehow, I managed to score my first coat button at about 4 inches deep. I can't believe that this button hadn't been picked off by now. The best part is that it isn't a general service button, like the cuff buttons that I've found, it's an Infantry button!!! I'm so stoked about this find. Thanks for looking and HH!!
