First Day With My New At

Today was my first day with my new At that I purchased from SaveThePast (Dale). This is the AT that Dale did a super job of installing wireless headphones and a new jack that comes out from the end of the stem. I only had about an hour so I went to a grass parking lot that has been worked over many times. First of all the modification Dale did works great and gets rid of those annoying wires. I fired up the Garrett and started to learn how it works and sounds. My first find was a 1945 quarter. I'm starting out right !! Then I found several Lincoln cents, two modern dimes and some assorted junk. As I'm walking back to my car I get a so so signal and dig it up. It was a 193? Buffalo nickel. The best part is this area has been picked clean by many people including myself with another brand detector. I think good things are in store for me and my new machine. I used to love my old Garrett Groundhog and it was great in its time but I am sure glad I bought my AT !!!

Outstanding hunt! :clapping: That sure is one great rig you got from STP...we were all very impressed with that mod... That was a heck of a deal too..

Jeez, nice finds. When I started I couldn't find my rump using both hands.

The ole Garrett Groundhog, I remember it well. The A T Pro I believe will retire the Groundhog I suspect. Nice finds right off. HH jim tn
