Well, not a huge find, but I pulled my first silver with the Deus. A 1958 Rosie.
Interestingly it was only down about 4" but sounded deeper but the tone was sold and repeatable.
I only have maybe a dozen hours on the Deus so far, and had just come off a month long hiatus from detecting but the Deus felt much more comfortable after the layoff than when I was running it often.
During the downtime I received and read thru Andy's book covering several of the sections several times and that may have helped me get it all firmly in my head, but whatever, for the first time the Deus felt like MY machine.
I am transitioning from an E trac and have been struggling with the Deus until this trip out. I find that the Deus reports good targets solidly and marginal stuff responds well to the Deus "wiggle"
which allows trash target signals to breakup or start changing tones.....
I really think at this point that machine may be close to the machine you can use pretty much anywhere.
