First EVER GOLD..Silver~ Copper~ Fatty injun~ token~ relics~

what can I say this week has been absolutely amazing for me, I cannot remember a better week in the last three years of detecting.

I met up with my buddy DiggerDan and we went to an abandoned farm house we had permission for, First dig was the toasted buffalo. Then a wheat, then it seemed there was no high tones anywhere, so I focused on low tones. If I have time I dig everything above iron at old farm houses anyway

next find I get is a 12-17, turned out to be a Silver war nickel. Few more minutes go by and I get a 4" deep solid 12-24 from both directions. NORMALLY a pulltab, but I dig them at houses anyway since there isn't that many at old farms anyhow. To my surprise it was a 1863 fatty injun! My second one and I just found my first the day before!!!!!!!

Like I said before I ALWAYS dig pulltabs at old houses hoping for a ring, and when I get home I throw them in a bucket and said I would save them until I dug gold.........well here is my pile of pulltabs. It took this many pulltabs from old houses till I got my first gold........do you think it was worth it????

and here is my prize........1939 class ring. There is only a year on it, no school name, or identifying marks. So looks like it is all mine to keep. This came in a solid 14-17 from both directions on the etrac. My buddy said he would never dig a signal like that...lol. When I told him the numbers the fatty injun and gold came in at he said he needs to start checking them numbers out.

after that we went back to my bean field I have been hitting last couple days, found 2 complete crotal bells, one broken one, old key, token that says good for 3 and a third cents in trade, and a worn out Canadian large cent. This field has been good to me!

start looking at your schedule and I will too. Can you do an all day hunt?

You are having a outstanding year. Congrats on the first gold! What is on the face of the ring? Looks like it has some kind of inlay from the pic on the right.
