...in the only un-frozen piece of dirt in northern Minnesota...my driveway. I passed through a lot of nulling and dug anything I thought was questionable. A couple of these gave a very high chirp in the top right area of the screen, but none of them were solid. It would bounce a bit and fer/con numbers were not consistant.

Anyways I figured I would quit bitchin' about the weather forecast and take advantage of this last 45 degree day until next weekend....now they are saying a high of 26 on wednesday or thursday.....and get out and "dig anything !!! " Was I surprised at what I found today? Not at all ...The reality did set in that I am a complete amateur with this detector. Although I only have an hour's time on this machine. I still got a long way to go.

Way to go Dave ! I`d probably be trying to build fires to thaw the ground. LOL

At least you got out, finally. Wont be long now, you'll be digging silver and gold before you know it.

its a start dave wto glad you got out i;ve tried some grass areas but frost hard and deep still but better days are coming

Glad to hear that you were able to get out and try out the new toy Dave!

I would settle for a driveway hunt as much rain as we've had. At least you got to try out the new detector and a good place to learn it some too.
