First finds with the 5 inch

Nice work , greaser!
Don't ya love that coil?

I went out this afternoon as well and had the 5" on for a short time. The place I went had very little trash so rockin the 5" was too tedious. I switched to the 11X7. I was at a modern park so no cool old stuff like you found. WTG!

Dean

P.S.- What # did the ring come in at? Was it a pretty solid hit?

Thanks! Yeah I definitely wouldn't want to hit a whole park with the 5 inch. Lol

It hit 85 I figured it was a clad dime and was pleasantly surprised.

Very nice find, congrats! How did you determine it was from the 1800's. Did it have an inscribed date on it?

Love it when that happens.

Thank you.
Googlefu I started when I knew the farm was established and the first ring that popped up was very similar in shape and style. I then found several others on Google that looked like the same style. All from the late 1800s
