The ground finely un-froze! Was hunting after 7pm last night (dark) around the curbs by my house. Found some pennys I missed with the Sov XS and the tesoro. Using the 4 inch coil w/ sens on 6 I think. This thing needs a backlight!!!!! - Helloooooo Mr. Garrett!
The square piece is copper or brass and was down about +6-8 inches, I was excited cause after I opened the hole 4 inch's it was still in the hole and the dirt was the good black soil that usually has the goodies in it! I was en-vision-ing
silver qtr but no luck  All the pennys were copper and 60's-70's except for one zincer that was shallow. I was using the "coins" program and digging 4 way sigs only. When I can see the display I'll use the "relics" mode to see if this unit does the foil/nickle bounce on the older nickles.
I must say the unit was stable and struck deep with the 4 inch coil, very impressive for a $200 machine.( i should know I've used about + 22 machines over the last 15 years) Looking forward to using it alot more, it will also be nice to be able to SEE the
display!
