I found my first gold ring today!!! Big men's ring with a huge "diamond". Inside said 14k THGE LIND,
AWESOME hold-my-breath cool find....but TID of 44. Under the 10X loupe...the ring looked pitted and the "diamond" was scratched and had rounded edges.
The ring had a stamping/inscription of: 14K THGE...then a symbol that look like the "eye of ra"..then LIND.
When I got home, I was on the internet looking up THGE...(BTW, HGE is heavy gold electroplate), when my buddy calls and says come have a beer. Short story is: I sold him the ring for $3...so no pics.
But still....I FOUND GOLD.
Lots of clad today...haven't added up yet...but around $3.
I shot some video of 38-42 TID penny....I'll put the video up soon.
