First Gold Ring Found and Returned!

exahab

New member
I went to a new place Saturday evening and when I got permission to hunt the wife of the couple asked if my detector would pick up a gold ring. She said it was lost a year and a half ago and she could never find it. After giving me a general area, I chose my ETP and began the hunt. Dug lots of can slaw before getting a solid 54 Lock on the screen. No matter where or how I moved the coil it stayed screaming at 54. About 2 inches down at the edge of a mud puddle up came the ring. Handing it back to her was a great feeling. The husband offered to pay me for finding it but I turned him down. He did give me 10 war nickels that he had found from one of the sites on the surface near the old foundation.
It also opened up 5 more locations of theirs and when a neighbor came by and found out what happened he said I could go over his yard also.

Great hunt!!!

For some reason having trouble getting pic off of phone, wiil keep trying.

Congrats I guess it was kinda hard to give back the first one you found but I bet you will find many more because of your kindness.HH

Very nice exahab. Plus because of your kindness you were rewarded with more places to hunt.
