First Gold w/ ATP

[size=large]found my first Gold Ring with the ATP this a.m. strange thing about the VDI for nickels and the ring. found a 6 nickels on this hunt and they all came in with VDI between 53-55. at my home park the nickels would come in between 48-52. i dug a few targets that read between 47-50. wouldn't ya just know they were foil. then i dug the last foil signal and it came up Gold. now i gotta dig all those foil signals from now on.

Congrats on a fine looking first ring. Hope it's the first of many to follow. Often times, when hunting in different soils, the targets will be off a bit. That's normal.

[size=large]actually this is my third gold ring. This one is my first with the ATP. And my first yellow gold. Same feeling as with finding the first ring though.Thanks for the comments and for looking.

[size=large]wouldn't ya know i left out the important info. It's 10k black hills gold. My wife's jeweler says isn't worth much right now. I found one on the net close to it and a brand new ring was only $100.00. It didn't have a diamond though. My does.
