I purchased my AT Pro a couple of months ago with the intent of using it as a fresh water wading detector. I have recovered rings and other jewelery, but a gold plated ring was the closest thing to gold jewelry. I got a late start today. By the time I headed out to my river beach site, it was already plenty busy with people. I decided to stop by at a junior high school with an athletic field two blocks from where I live. Been there, done that many times over the years but not with my AT Pro. About 30 minutes into it, I got a strong signal 69 VDI one way, 70 VDI the other at 6". When I saw this, there was no mistaking what it was. My first gold ring with the AT Pro. My other machine has found 24 rings this year, so it is no slouch. However, over the last 2 months I have learned the AT Pro is a whole lot less complicated and is a feather weight compared to my high end detector. I appreciate all the input and advice you all give on this forum. Keep up the good work. This is one ring I can keep for myself, it fits me. Happy hunting to all.
