First Gold with the Omega :wiggle:

Wood chip gold. Nice little 10KT Mermaid pendant on a 14 KT chain. Almost walked right over this one as I thought it was EMI noise as I had the Omega too hot for the site conditions. But the audio stood out just a little better than the EMI racket and I backed up a step resweep my tracks and it repeated so I recovered it. Jumpy id in the high 40's to low 50's. Hit on the pendant only. Machine settings were: Sens at 70, Disc at minimum, 4 tone, 11" coil. Target Id was jumpy high 40s to low 50s. It probably would have stood out better if I had been running the Omega at a more stable setting.

Nice, I have not found any gold yet.

Tests with my Delta have always given me that funny chirp you mentioned. I listen for it now.
