First Hunt of 2006

Hey guys...been a while since I've posted...as I haven't been out. Well it's frozen solid and we are buried in 5" of snow up here in Kingston, Ontario right now...so I'm sure the detecting season is over here for me. I did however make a trip down to Hamilton yesterday to put in a day of detecting.

Went out in search of some 1812 goodies...but came up short in that department. Only a couple of musketballs.

I did however manage some nice old coins later in the day.

-Two 1837 One Penny Bank Tokens...both in amazing shape
-5 large cents...1886, 1909, 1910, 1910, and 1913
-1 1919 dime

It was great getting out this time of year...a real treat for me.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas

it was certainly a great way to start the year for me. I'm hoping to hit the older stuff this year. While I'm not expecting the quantity of goodies I got last year...I'm going for quality and age this year *hah*

Happy Hunting All!
