and the first silver coin I dug was a seated dime. Can't say much for the way it looks. Seems like it's been clipped and sharpened and....? Also got a merc and an 1888 Indian.

The seated looks like it went thru the washer and dryer.......and the toaster and microwave and the meatgrinder and the horses digestive system......and then stomped on....but heck ....its still a seated coin!.......

Don't matter how bad that Seated is, at least it is another Great Old Coin saved from being lost forever. Have you checked the 1888 Indian Head to see if the last 8 is over a 7? Could be tough to tell but you never know. Nice finds and hope you have Continued Success, Good Luck and HH.

Seated is seated, and very nice find no matter the condition..How deep was it.... Nice Mercury (Liberty) dime

great start to the new year..hey did you see Mike from MI Iron Brigade got an 1850 Once Cent coin? (Check in the Christian Metal Detecting forum).

Again congrats Neal.

Very nice Neal..............:) Too bad the seated wasn't in better shape, but then again if I found any seated I wouldn'd care what kind of shape it was in. HH.
