First hunt of 2008!!!!!!!!

Had to go do a job at a house that I have hunted before and pulled several keepers over the last couple years. Before I left I checked the yard and a shovel went all the way down! YEEEE HAAA! No frost! So I decided to take all my diggin gear along. I was hoping to get my first IH, or silver of the year. Well I did one better! My first large cent of 2008! (1850) YEEE HAAAA!!!! I also managed two wheats 1918, and 1956D, two old suspender buckles, an old turquoise ring, and a cap gun not pictured. Not a bad start!

Mike, that is a beautiful large cent! I have never found one! Not too many in at least this part of Texas! However, I have found a 2-cent piece, old Mexican Silver Coins, and some old
Spanish Silver Coins! Later, can you post a picture of the Cap Gun, they are among some of my favorite finds!....................GOD BLESS............Joe

They are out there waiting to be found. Sherry said I should come down and get some 'detector training' from you. Yah know she might have an idea. I have a video camera, you could detect, we'd make a video then we could sell it so others could benefit from the 'detector training'. There probably are others who could do the video much better than me (say like SC Digger or even Joe G or others). There ya go another income making idea to help get you through those winters.
