First hunt of the fall season for me

Don in SJ

Member
After a summer of recovery, finally have the health and TEMPERATURES to get out swinging the XS again.
Got a bunch of nicknack's but the first oldie of the Fall season for me brought a smile to my face.
Always love seeing the big coppers in the dirt, and even better when they are from the 1700's.

Man I find those U.S. large cents to be beautiful coins! I'm tired of digging up ours here in Canada to be honest *haha* I need to get to the states for a hunt one of these days to find myself one of those beauties!

Happy hunting!

Do you clean up this old copper as in Pa. come out of the ground in poor condition. Great way to start fall season for sure..Gosh a silver of this vintage would be fantastic....

Don, congrats on the beauty! I love the LC's. How did you clean yours, if you don't mind me asking. It came out great!

Thanks,
Brent-Pa
