First hunt with Comparde

Dancer

Well-known member
Took it to a well hunted sports field. Hunted mostly around sandy parking areas & paths to rest rooms. I got to tell ya - you can do allot with that one knob! You Tesoro vets know what I mean. So hunted threw plenty of trash using the only knob to check the targets. [I hunted mostly between foil & nickel ] The areas i hunted had coins [24 pennies- 2 dimes] The other areas were pretty cleaned out, not even much trash. So I'm happy with the hunt, I know I didn't get all, but someone following the Comparde on this hunt isn't going to have much fun. Got a few other trashy places to check out around this park before bringing in the bigger coils to hunt the fields. I'm sold..

If you had that much fun this hunt, just wait it gets better and better each hunt. This little wonder has brought more smiles to my face than I can count in only my 2nd year of owning it. Yesterday I had 10 minutes to hunt before work. That was all I needed. The Compadre netted me all but 6 cents shy of a dollar. 94 cents ain't bad for 10 minutes. If you run it even at the L in foil you can find gold with it. Never ceases to amaze me how this one knob wonder finds the good stuff. HH

You bought one sweet machine! I have a Vaquero also, and my Compadre still gets plenty of use. Awesome job on the maiden voyage!
