First Hunt With LTD

Went to a spot that I have pounded over the years. Not much there anymore, but I always take a new detector to this spot first. I hunted in boost, all-metal motion with the sensitivity as high as possible. I got it up to 80-85. With the F75 in JE, I could run it wide open. Can't do that even in JE mode with this machine. I found 6 CW bullets and various other small pieces of lead, tin, etc. All but one three-ringer were quite deep. It's definitely a deep machine. I just need to learn how best to harness its power. I'll tell you one thing. In air tests, it absolutely blows the F75 away. In the ground it won't be that big a difference, but I do believe its deeper. It's like trying to keep a big, spirited horse under control. When you figure out how to do it, it will run.

Thanks for the report. That is what I am interested in. What the LTD will do in those long time pounded sites. Nice bullet finds. HH jim tn
