First Indian Head

I knew there just had to be an indian head penny somewhere waiting for my atpro to discover. Not a real lucrative day, but I'm not on sites that have been giving up the gold.

1906, 1911, 1916, ...... I think I may go back to this place and snoop around some more.

Nice going on the Indian Head penny. May there be many more first.

Nice old pennies. I got an I.H. yesterday also, my third this year up here in Canada. The ATP seems to like them, and so do I .:detecting:

Congrats!!! I love Indian Heads, I remember my first one vividly, got it with an Ace 250. It was a 1902. Yours looks to be in great condition. I've found that once you find a type of coin then you seem to find more and more of them. Took me what seemed forever to find a Mercury dime, once I did I found 4 of them within a week. So get ready for more Indians!!

Nice age on those coins! It's good to follow your hunches - sometimes it takes two or three visits before the fish start biting. I've gone back to sites that were only minimally productive and must have been in the right frame of mind, 'cause cool finds just started jumping out of the earth.
