Hunted a beautiful old limestone house on the St. Lawrence River here in Kingston today. The original portion of the house was built in 1830, or so the owner believes. There was an addition put on in the 1920's according to him. He moved into the home in 1960, and upon his arrival the yard was littered in junk, old cars, etc. Much of it he cleared, but fortunately a portion of it was untouched.
After finding about 30 clads, I finally landed an old one. I dug this wellington half penny token at 6". It's pretty crusty, but my second oldest coin to date.
About 10 minutes later, and 15 feet away, a got a beautiful silver dollar hit. I pulled out this 1850 One Penny Token from 5" deep. It's in beautiful shape, with one side showing great patina. The other side is the usual reddish colour that these coins usually show.
My last find was this very strange frog broach. The pin is intact, and it's in great shape. This was also dug at 5", but I have no clue how old it is. I'm guessing the eyes are FAKE diamonds. Any ideas on the frog?
It felt great to get my first old coins with my new machine. Thanks for looking guys.

I've decided I'll sell this rare find to you at a serious discount. Lets say...$100,000 <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol">
