I went out to a local tot lot and broke in my new MXT Pro tonight. The ground is still mostly frozen, but there were patches of "diggable" ground. I had many solid hits with high VDI's, but they were in areas of frozen solid ground. Even my Lesche couldn't get down there!
I was able to start to learn my machine and dug 2 quarters, 5 pennies (1 wheat, the rest zinc and copper) and one chard of twisted metal. I was out about 45 minutes. The backlight of the Pro is awesome for night hunting!
We are expecting temps in the 40's-60's for the next week, so hopefully the snow will melt and the ground will thaw a bit. HH
