First Park Hunt With V4.1

I hunted with V4.1 software for the first time in a Denver area park yesterday before the mini snow storm that is happening today. I picked a park with possible deep older coins and with fairly easy digging conditions normally. Our winter has been more like late spring here with no moisture except for a couple of short snow episodes so even this park had some very dry hard pack and difficult screw driver digging conditions. It was 70 degrees F with bright sunshine and today is 32 F and snowing!!!

I was using V4.1 with the 11" coil, General program, 5 tones, reactivity 2. I was able to run sensitivity up to 97 thankfully. Due to moderate to high 7 bar magnetite mineralization I was using silencer 0, no notch, bottle caps 0 and default discrimination to help prevent edge of detection non ferrous targets sounding like iron. The bigger problem at this park is the carpet of low and mid conductor aluminum trash audio responses. I tried the new Low Square audio for a while and then switched to High Square. Both are really good for my ears.

I do not have the stereo headphones. At this point I am not sure that I will buy them unless my mono WSAll or WS6 have an issue down the road.

I dug 15 targets that were in the 8" deep or deeper range including a bolt and nut with a non ferrous fitting, 1918, 1941, 1942 US wheat pennies, 1943 D silver Washington quarter and a 1944 silver Mercury dime. This park was built in 1906 and the oldest found coins that I have found there are from that era. Tough digging which wore me out, but V4.1 was excellent on these deep targets.

Nice interesting and productive hunt .
I hunted a curb strip in a historical area that is going to get torn up soon. I was using park mode mostly stock with 9 inch coil V4.1 with stereo and morph 1 I plan to go back with the HF coil.
Same weather conditions as you yesterday and today I am in the center of SD found plenty of clad nothing old or deep very trashy with EMI I am still a rookie with D2 and am wondering how you get the minerallzation graph to show up?

It alternates with the battery level meter near the bottom left of the normal horse shoe graph display. You can’t see it with the large target ID numbers or XY graph. Only the remote has this feature. Not on WS6.

Gently pumping the coil activates it.
