This is the best forum on the net.
I'm looking forward to learning more about you; ie What type of detector, what you hunt for, your general location ( there is probably a member not to far from you)

Welcome , we are family on here. Feel free to post prayer request or praise reports.

Not to hijack your forum Pulseman, (now hijacking) but I too am new and this is my first post, well I posted a guess on the contest thing with the coins so second post truly. I didn't know where else to go really. I've been looking around the site and am a little overwhelmed. So much info =). I'm looking to get a machine but there are so many out there. Is there somewhere on the site that newbies can look to see an appropriate machine to buy? Thanks for your input. (hijack off)

Good to see a place for Christians. That's cool.

Glad you stopped by. If I can help in any way just ask.

God bless.

Welcome sunbeard . There is no good place to ask what detector to get all forums you will get multiple answers. Truth is all brands make good ones , but some models and brands seem to be better than others . Mostly it is what ever detector you get used to and learn well. I have had radio shacks , two bounty hunters and two minelabs( x-terras) and have found good things with all of them. I like my minelab x-terra 70 the best out of all of them. In my opinion the x-terra forum has the best information on it to. I learned so much from that forum it made learning the x-terras a breeze. Look forward to seeing your posts. And look forward to hear what kind of detector you get.

Welcome sunbeard to the forum! Glad to have you and It is good that you are posting with us also! Hope you find the detector you want and like using it! The most important thing is to take time to learn all about the one you use and then practice, be patient and persevere....as too many get discouraged and quit...leaving their new detector in a closet or get rid of it by selling or trading! When you have learned how yours works, then swing low and slow for the depth of finding those whispers of good deeper coins and goodies! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

Hi,

Sorry for the tardy reply but I've been away for a bit.

Thanks much for the gracious welcome.

I use an old detector made by Tesoro. It's the original Bandido.

I hunt for anything interesting. I don't get much time for this but when I do I really enjoy it.

I live in northern, Michigan.

How about you?

Thanks to everyone for the excellent comments and great welcomes.

I don't have much time today but this coming week I'll attempt to deal with each comment.

Lord bless,

pulseman48
