Where do you call home? What machine do you use?
God bless.

Mike

I live just south of the Mackinaw Bridge in northern Michigan.

I use an old original Tesoro Bandido.

Not to hijack your forum Pulseman, (now hijacking) but I too am new and this is my first post, well I posted a guess on the contest thing with the coins so second post truly. I didn't know where else to go really. I've been looking around the site and am a little overwhelmed. So much info =). I'm looking to get a machine but there are so many out there. Is there somewhere on the site that newbies can look to see an appropriate machine to buy? Thanks for your input. (hijack off)

Good to see a place for Christians. That's cool.

I'm new myself but I'll welcome you to this site.

As for a machine, you really need to get what's right for your area and your own personal style. Some machines are highly technical and others very simple.

Personally I use an old Tesoro Bandido. In my areas it does a great job and I really like the depth and feel of it. I've owned lots of brands and models even some of the newest and very expensive. I still prefer the old Tesoro.

We all have to find what fits us best. But the really big thing in this hobby isn't the machine but research to find good sites. Nothing happens if there's nothing to dig.
