Not sure about this but I'll try according to Bill and the Guvner here goes nothing. The Half is about an EF-40 and found in Eastern Wa. on a recent Aug. trip, the pendant is 14 kt. with 3 diamonds and a dark blue sapphire, nice Xmas Present, found it 2 wks. ago on the Olympic Penninsula. Both using an Explorer XS with 10" coil. Hope the pic's come out O.K. Now that I know they came thru, I may have reduced them to much, the half is an 1897-S and the pendant also had an 18" chain attached to it with a broken link that is now fixed to the tune of $17

Thanks guy's, the local dealer said it was better than a gold coin find but I'd prefer the gold coin as it is on my list. It was a good hunt site and am sure it has been hunted many time before with other detectors. The half was about 12" and in the middle of a walk path of gravel, also found several I.H's along with old wheats and a neat trade token along with an old hat pin that won misc. at our M.D. Club. Hunted this same place last year and managed more I.H., wheats and one seated dime. Wish I lived closer but once a year is about all I can make it over there.

Those are almost the exact dates we'll be in Southern California and hopefully swinging on the beach after visting a couple of day's with the kid's and the newest addition to our family for the Holidays. Still not sure what detector to take along.
