First run with the G2+

It's been a busy fall for me, but I finally made it out for a quick hunt after work. I've actually had this detector for a month, but other than put batteries in it and turn it on, today is the first day I've been able to run it in iron. I found that although I am personally not a fan of the vco tone, that the G2+, even with the larger coil, sifts through the iron well and absolutely hammers lower conductive targets. Hoping to get out again to this site to find some more goodies! The Indian head penny is a '65' although I've found two Chinese coins from the 1750s at this site, someone's lost collection I'd assume. I thought the little bird was cool, and the plated pendant got the heart thumping. . Good hunting all.
