I went back to the old house site to look for some silver coins. I keep finding lead, but I did manage to find a1869 Shield Nickel and 1926 Wheat Penny. This site just gives me just enough finds each time to keep me going back. I have a feeling that there's something really super good waiting on me to find. I was running the T2SE with the 11 inch DD coil, 2+ tones, discrimination 10, sensitivity 85 and ground balance at 60.

Great find. Those finds would keep me going back too. I haven't found a shield nickle yet. I do have one V and one buffalo. I guess the shield is next on my list. I like those T2 settings too.
 
Very nice find Gerald. Don't see those pop up very often. Do bad our ground isn't kinder to nickels. Non the less, excellent save. Shoot, I'd start thinking GOLD COIN on that spot.:detecting: HH jim tn
