I was hunting in an old park this afternoon and found a 1901 barber dime with the AT Gold. IT was less than an inch deep and the vdi was all over the place. The ground was moist blackland and very low ground balance of only 15. It sometimes pays to ignore the vdi and dig good repetitive tones. Gotta love the at. Good luck out there. Randy

great find and only an inch deep, here in virginia beach I'm digging 1980's dimes from under tree roots and six inches deep for lincolns and pulltabs!

Love those Barbers! Hope it has a big family around there!
