I have not detected in over 3 weeks due to weather (hot!), vacation (Iceland, cold!), and having a cold. So a rare dry and not too hot day appeared and decided to go light and take out the Vaquero without earphones (still too hot) and just try a place I have hunted a few times before. To be honest, I have been using my Minelab 705 in most of my hunts, but I wanted to keep it simple today. Found $0.65 in clad, pull tabs, and then this silver ring (925). Penny is there for size comparison.

Cool lookig ring . I never use head phones unless I'm in a noisy area . Just dont like wearing them .
