Hi All, hope everyones holiday season was great. Added a new coil to the treasure hunting arsenal, a 15" WOT. Had a chance to give it a try today. I was able to manage a couple keepers. The barber dime was around the 10" mark, with a very good signal. The silver nickel was close to 8" and the buffalo was only 5-6". But both gave very good signals. I also scored a few wheatie pennies 8-10"s. Seems like this coil is definitely a keeper. It will take a little getting used to but it sure hits hard on coins, it also seems very sensitive to small targets. I dug a few very small whatz-its from some impressive depths. Good luck to all in the 2007 season.

I'd love to get the 15" wot coil. I'm trying to fill the old piggy bank now for it down the road. I've heard a lot of good about that coil. Was there any special wiring you had to do to use it, i.e. (modifications on the Quatro or the coil)? Great finds, and thanks for sharing. Marc.
