Today I hunted it with the x-70 and look what all I missed with the ace
first silver of the season 1943 Canadian dime, first buffalo this year, 1926, a 1947 Jefferson, and 3 wheats......1936(2) and 1940

once again the minelab shines

can you post how you clean your nickels?
Nice finds!
Greg
sure!

how I clean nickels is like this:

mix a spoon of salt in 1/2 cup venegar, stir till it disolves, place nickel in this and swirl it around for 2-3 minutes, the red will start to come off fairly quick, remove it and rub baking soda on it, rinse, dry, and if i needs more, do the process over. Works on any nickels

Hi, My name is Ron from Belchertown, Ma. Good tip on the nickle cleaning, think I'll give it a try. Went out today with my brother, his daughter and two of my four son's. Found lots of clad some wheaties, also an indian head penny, hard to make out the date. A pendant my wife and I call the tree of life, also a beat ring with what look like two diamonds on either side of the center stone, I think it is probably gold plated. It's nice to have a Christian fellowshipping forum! Lots of old houses and lots in the woods around my area, some of the properties date back to the early 1700's maybe older. It's never a dull moment. God Bless!
