First silver of the year

Took the Vaquero back to the creek where I found the 1862 British half penny . I have hunted this area hard and dont find much any more .Theres a lot of old rotting trees and I moved some of them out of the way . I dug three wheat cents and a no date buffalo nickle where those trees were laying . "Whew" that was hard work and I'm ready for pizza and a beer . I then crossed to the other side and hit a good signal . I predicted this was going to be a silver dime . Sure enough about 5 to 6 inches down came a 1926 Merc .

Stock coil , disc. at iron , sens. at the end of red and threshold set high enough that its amplified and can still use the pinpoint button .

People are just naturally attracted to creeks . I search out high flat spots that would be good for setting up a camp , or just enjoying a picnic .

I went back down yesterday and found two wheaties . I have found about 125 old coins along this creek and the wooded hillside's surrounding it , in the last half dozen years but it getting tough .
