First silver ring and possible meteorite

Well my wheat cent streak is over after 8 hunts . But I'm not crying cause I found my first silver ring today retrieved from Golden Gate Park. I also found a possible meteorite that requires further inspection before I can be positively sure. Otherwise nothing too old this time out, with the oldest being a 1960 D Nickel. Also found a whole lot of keys, and given the number I suspect they were lost by one of the park maintenance staff.

Just glad I could bring something back that will motivate me to go out again next week. Happy hunting!

How about a sharper focused image or three of the meteorite. Is it magnetic.... Run a magnet over it......

Nice ring!..I hope that is a meteorite for ya..Thats on my list of something id like to Detect for..I see Some states have some good area for it.Thx for the pics.HH
