First time detecting for 2011

On Friday it got up around 60*, so I had to try and get out. Although I knew the snow would still be covering most of my "go to" detecting spots, I figaahd (Jim, that's Maine for figured:thumbup:) I might find a little dirt somewhere.

I ended up at a place I hadn't detected for years that used to be a dance hall many moons ago. About 75% was still snow covered, and 2/3 of the bare earth still frozen.

Well, I went nice and slow through all the trash signals, and managed to find a few wheaties and this.
