First time out with Safari

First of all, I want to say thanks to everyone for all the good advice and information on this forum. Just got my Safari on Thurs. and this morning hit a couple of yards where the houses had been removed for a future parking lot. Someone had gotten to them before me ( I could see replaced plugs everywhere) so I thought this would be a good test. I ended up with a handfull of clad, 10 wheaties from 1936 to 1954 and some of that pretty silver- a 1964 Rosie dime and a 1943 Mercury dime. I did notice, like I had read on some threads, that the Safari did bounce around a little on the ID number. The wheaties were from 37 to 39 and the dimes were 38 to 39. So far, I think it's a winner and hope to contribute to some of those great finds posted here.

Nice detecting and great work on finding such a good spot to work on. Even though some one was there before you, it still got many great finds. I bet if you went back you probably would find many good finds. The more you get to know the Safari the better it works. That is some good detecting and thanks for sharing......Z
