First Time Out With the new Ace Super Sniper Coli

broadestpower

New member
This isn't all that inspiring but, considering this was only a half hour hunt I thought it was pretty productive.
I found the Ace concentric sniper coil was refreshing change from the dd, it spot on for pinpointing and depth. I stayed
around the front yard, working the edges of the driveway and part of the street and grass! Felt good to be back in the hunt
I did hit a nice quarter signal on the side of the driveway but ran into ice about two inces down. I'll wait for more thawing to
happen and hit that spot again. There were spots that were thawed as much as six inches. The musket looking ball was found
at around five or six inches. I believe it is a ball bearing verses a musket ball it appears to have a layer of rust on it.

God Bless and HH!

It wasn't even something that I gave much thought. I was although thinking of going to a neighbors house
across the street who moved out in the early winter but my wife said; that would be inappropriate, so I guess
I'll wait until I see one of them and ask for permission even though they may no longer own it! That sniper coil
is a blast, now I know why every one that has one says they never take them off.

Thanks for the read and reply, God Bless You and HH

We've been in the forty's for about a week now, and we had two days of straight rain that helped the thawing process.
You'll be thawed out soon enough, we only have about six inches of snow left on the ground in spots after getting 32 inches from
our blizzard about three weeks ago! Thanks for the read and reply, God Bless and HH

What's a thaw? We don't have them out here but I did have a thaw finger recently.

I went out last week and got $52 in coins, my wife took them shopping and, guess what, they are all gone already.

I am using a Minelab Explorer SE.

Wow, Nyal that is a lot of money to find :detecting: !!! Do you have large denomination coins like Canada which are called Loonies? Sure wish we had the larger denomination coinage...the $1.00 one is what we have and they aren't circulated very much! May God Bless you to go :detecting: often and able to find more $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ totals! Amen! Ma

Well, here in the USA there are many lower valued coins that are valuable when lucky enough to find them! So, I usually dug the pennies and etc., unless I got so tired I just quit digging and only went for the larger denominations! Rings are found more often when digging most beeps and without too low of discrimination! Glad for you on the coinage....higher totals accumulate faster with less swinging and digging! Keep the faith and hunting the gold, relics and coins! May God Bless you and your wife always! Amen! Ma

My best month was $602 in one and two dollar coins, but I worked hard for it.

The good thing about detecting here is that you can quickly pay for a detector, provided you learn how to use it and have a bit of sense as to where to go.

For the most part, you have no trouble with anyone.

Every now and again you get kicked off, but I think that it has only happened to me once several years ago now.

Others do get themselves into bother by their own ill-considered actions - large holes - left unfilled - argumentative - you all know how foolish some detectorists are.

I forgot to say that I my settings also allow for gold rings and I've only found six good ones so far, but I've also found dozens of silver ones.

With three grand-daughters and a wife, the rings don't last very long.

I wonder where they are now!

Steve's wife, Nancy, in AZ, who has accumulated enough rings and jewelry to start her own business from robbing Steve when he comes home after a good day of :detecting:    Ma

Congrats on the finds. How's the 350 working out for you - I just got one. Hoping it is much better than the ACE 250, GTA 1000 and the GTAX 1250 detectors I used to have.Still got a lot of snow here so waiting for the spring thaw.
