First Water Hunt This Year Gets Me A Sunburn :( :stars:

Got out today to a local watering trough. I met my buddy Scott at a designated spot, and we threw all the gear into my Saturn Vue. Scott got all the rings today, and I got to learn the characteristics of the 10" x 14" DD coil on the Infinium. And wow.....does it ever go deep! I found that watch at over 20 inches deep in the wet sand. Of course one has to try and fill the holes in after a deep find, so that kind of slowed me down.

I am used to using the smaller 8" mono coil on the Infinium. The 10" x 14" performs a little differently, and a little heavier too! I should have arms like POPEYE by the end of the summer using this set up!

Below are my finds for the day......

sounds like ya had a good day out John + ya got some exercise :clapping:. i"m quite interested in the infinium & may get one some day ( it"s on my detectors to get list ) i"ll be eagerly awaiting all your great water hunting posts.

Nice hunt! Yeah, that Infinium is awesome! Whenever I use that stock 10"x14" coil I use a bungee cord because it is so heavy, plus that way you can just let it dangle there while you dig/scoop. Sorry to see that you got a sunburn. Man that is one MONSTER scoop you've got there. I love it. Might have to get me one. Best of luck to you with all of the water detecting this summer. Enjoy! Happy Hunting!

That 10x14 will put some meat on you, plus digging those really deep holes. Nice haul. You detecting or digging up a water line? :)
