My first weeks finds. I really love my new xterra 705, all finds where at the school across the street from my house with the 5x10 DD HF coil.

That's a nice pile of coins you have there!! Probably that many more in that school site too.
It is amazing how you can keep going back to school yards and find plenty of coins that were missed on previous hunts.

Thank you all for the replies. I really love my new metal detector and will be hunting the school more tomorrow because I have only hunted around 25% of it so far, the 25% that I have seen people congregating most. I like the fact that I just have to walk a few feet outside my door and I'm there hunting.

Nice job! Decided to share my finds with a few pic's after seeing yours. Going to have to cut down a little because the wife is feeling neglected lately.
 
I understand that, that's why I hunt at 6:00am for about an hour because of the wife and the desert heats up faster than my wife lol. I am looking forward to winter even though I will not ge to hunt a lot because we have our first baby coming in December and he will be my responsibility because my wife works more than me.

To be honest because I am hunting the school across the street from my house I am not digging, so all my finds have been three inches or less I am just popping them out of the ground. I am doing it that way to avoid upsetting the grounds keepers.
