Some articles are specific to Fischer detectors but some articles apply to all brands

FISHER INTELLIGENCE [4th Edition] 11.2004

I have owned a CZ-70 for some time (it only partially works after being swamped on the beach). It has pretty much stayed in the closet anyway since I got my Minelabs but I still have Tom Dankowski Fisher Intelligence papers in my detecting library and re-read it periodically to refresh my aging mind. :geek:

Tom Dankowski's papers should be a must read for any detectorist irregardless of machine before they even touch a detector. His papers answer many of the questions that I find alot of detectorists keep asking time and time again. For instance, the Ground Moisture Content & The Halo Phenomenon chapter explains alot about how the varying moisture content of soil effects detecting like how detecting in dry conditions can help find silver while wet conditions allow for better iron searches. I think he and Andy Sabisch should be put into the detectorist hall of fame for helping us novices understand what these mysterious beeping boxes are and how better to understand how to use them. :detecting:

cheers...Keith

Thanks for the learning material. Even though it says ...that other brand! Jim
