Every once in a while, be it hunting or fishing, or any persuit type of sport, a fellow really gets into them! I've had my eye on this one totlot, it is small and tucked away behind an old out of the way school. I was going to sweep a big sports area, but a game was going on early this am, so I went to that totter. Immediately, signals galore, settle down, drop sens, work it right, get 'em all like an old bull would do! 120 coins not including the CC or the really busted up Q, $15.19 total, 2 dollar coins, two rings, one 925, the other prolly junk, (mid 50 signal) not stamped, but not magnetic either. I was there maybe an hour, I dont think anybody has hit this place in quite a while, deep in the chip signals, all stained and ate up by the wood acid. I got all the 70's, 80's, nickles and bastard signals, (zippers) and foil, some of the zincs, but left a lot of them, went over the whole place twice. Then I headed on over to a place I found a 1910 barber dime last year, in an outfield, and set a high sens, with a low disc, and picked up a few more bucks in clad. With a sens of 50, and a disc of 1, a guy can get right up tight to the poles and still hit targets. Depth is still pretty good 4" or so. Then a fellow can up the sens and shoot the clear areas to great effect. I can see why a sens dial setting like the F5 has would be awesome in a situation like this, but these DP tones of the F70 ID's targets fast, and really shines in tight spills. The silver ring came in at 81. Tomorrow morning, old dirt, looking for some silver coins! Then I'm gone for a week of work with no swinging. Hope y'all have a good one, the weather here is perfect!
