Fisher and Omega 8000 frequency outputs

Would the Omega 8000 with the DD coil find coins better then the Fisher F70 with the 11 inch DD coil or the Garrett ATPRO with its frequency output.and how about the depth capability of the Omega? Thanks in advance.

Bear in mind that its not quite so clear in that while the F70 is probably able to see a bit deeper when in the proper settings, the other units in different contexts will see some coins (unmasking?) better. So it is to be factored in that all mentioned machines are very good at doing what they do. Each has its strengths and in some circumstances each would be the best. I hope I made that clear. The answer to which is best is, "Yes!".

The Omega with the 11" DD coil in West Virginia dirt will hit good on coins @ the 8" range and ID them pretty good as well.
The sensitivity setting I use is just below 70 or to say 65 to 69 which is just short of getting into circuit noise, it will go deeper and hit harder if you run the sensitivity up farther in the noise range for sure.
The 10" concentric coil does not ID as well at the deep targets.

I am a HUGE fan of the Omega for coins. Right in the perfect frequency range for them.

Holler with questions or for a great deal!

Wouln't the fisher f5 do just as well on coins as the Omega, plus it cost less?

F5 is a good choice for coinshooting, although it is not a deep machine, depth falls off around 7-8". Mine will ID silver to max depth, although dimes and pennies can occassionally overlap at depth. Very tuneable to any hunting senario. Tough to hunt when EMI is present.

I like my LTD pennies at 10" [pre 64] dimes around 8" or more, have hit silver quarters at 12" using the 11" dd coil....now before anybody gets offended this is in perfect conditions and dont happen all the time, there are a lot of variables out there. JMHO good luck and keep on swinging!!!.........hh rick in mi.

Cant go wrong with the omega for coins. I've been doing really well with mine and the detech ultimate 13 coil is a killer combo for depth and seperation. Paul
