WILL A COIL FOR A FISHER 1265 FIT A 1266 ALSO? I'M ALMOST POSITIVE IT DOES BUT WANTED TO ASK HERE BEFORE I BUY THE COIL FOR MY 1266. THANKS.....ROGER
 
All of the 12XX series detectors can use the same coils. There are 4", 5", 6", 8" 10" and 12". I have an elliptical that was made by Fisher. Looks like the coil on a Gold Bug. It is all I use anymore on the 1266 I have, but I had it on a 1265 before now.
