Fisher CZ-20

I just purchased a Fisher CZ-20 and any tips you care to share on using the CZ-20 would be appreciated. One thing I notice is it is heavy.
Thanks Marty

I have a 20 with the 10.5" coil. I love it. Since I've used a CZ-5 for years, going to the 20 was easy.
-Hipmount! Even in the water, I hipmount. It feels a little weird, as the box wants to float upside down.
-Read my post on the thread below about Ground Balancing. It plays just as important a role in the water. In fact, GB IN THE WATER.
-Learn to pinpoint your target without looking down. In murky water, you aren't going to see anything anyway.
-Dig everything that doesn't sound off as iron. I even like to dig the weak Iron/Mid tone bouncing signals that sound really small and shallow in Auto-tune, as these are usually earrings or other oddball targets.

Below is a portion of a post I made in the CZ Class room forum. I GB at waters edge & then re-check in knee deep water.
