Fisher f11 question

I was setting discrimination on my friends f11 to reject nickels.When we turned the machine off and back on it didn't keep nickels notched. Is there a way to set the notch to retain the setting when you cut off the f11?

Even though some feature lists say they do on others I have seen only the F44 seems to save settings....the F11 and F22 don't.

Gotta take 5 seconds out of our busy lives to set it up after powering up every time.
 
The machine was being set for competition hunt dimes and better.
