Fisher F2 or F4

Through tons of reading and watching videos, one of these two machines will be my choice. I have seen some really good videos that show there is litterally NO difference in depth between the two. Basically the F4 is an F2 with GB and ALL Metal. The ground around me is very good and works fine with a fixed gb machine. Just curious if I take it away with me??? ANy and all help would be appreciated.

I have the fisher F4 and love it!! Last year was my first year metal detecting and I got over 3000 coins. Easy to use and very dependable.

Thank you. I think the GB, Threshold, and ALL Metal might be worth the extra $100.

It is worth the extra money for sure! Some times you might find yourself digging up bottle caps thinking its a quarter. If you get a reading that says its a quarter sweep over it real fast several times and if it does not make the same sound its a bottle cap. That may save you a lot of digging. What part of the country do you live in? I am in San Diego and we can dig all year here.

Don't forget that the F4 comes with a higher end coil!
