Im trying to decide whether i should get the f4 or the 250. i live in indiana but have a house in florida, so i want something water resistant and beach friendly. any other suggestions to ?

Better target separation, recovery time and coil on the F4...even compared to the 350 with the same type coil.
Manual ground balance is a must IMO for any main detector...even if you have great soil.

You should go deep with anything you swing in Indiana...the dry sand in Fla.works that way too, the wet sand will give most VLF detectors fits but turn down the sense and you can still find stuff despite all the falseing.

FYI..

If the F4 is the way you go, I saw a good looking deal on a used one on that online auction site. It has a complete coil (4coil) package.
I use an F4 and love it. IMHO, you can't go wrong with the F4.

F4 not even close. Better coil, Faster recovery, longer warranty, lighter...
