I have no experience with Fisher detectors but was thinking of getting my nephew the f44 because he always wants to go out and detect with me. I have always had minelab and was wondering if anyone has some hours on the f44.

Fisher F44

You can not go wrong with the F44! I got mine just a couple of weeks ago and I am really loving it. It is a killer on coins. I hunt mainly parks and schools and coins and jewelry is what I go after. I also have the F75 and the F5. They are great detectors but the F44 is light and has all the features needed that make it a great detector. For some younger, or for us old guys, the F44 is a great way to go!
