Fisher F75SE Hidden Program

Try it. I don't have the 11" coil so don't know how it would work. I would think it would do Great, so someone can try it with the 11" dd let us know.

Thanks Bill

I was using the 11"dd coil for my test run with your settings that I posted on earlier. I don't have the little 5" yet but I got one on the way along with a NEL shooter coil.

I have a spot picked out that has a lot of silver locked in the trash, with your settings and the little 5" this could be the key to unlock some of that silver.

Just got my 75ltd and had read this post befors getting it
I tried these settings but my machine chattered so much i had
to turn sens. down to 50 to make it tolerable. Found a wheatie
at about 6" but still real noisy, would changing the frequency
help with this? I was in my back yard wondering if emi is to much?

You can change the frequency and settle on the one that's the best as far being quieter. But make sure you Ground Balance Good. When you ground balance the F75 right, you will hear very little noise as you lift & lower the coil. Also make sure your Coil is Plugged in good. What was your Ground reading when you ground balance? You can also go to Manual Ground Balance set it then take it Two numbers up from that. Say it balance's at 60 in Manual then turn the knob so it will read 62 . Then go back over to the Dic side it will stay at the 62. You can also test if it is EMI once you have it set up is to slowly lift your coil from the ground and raise it to about your chest. and see if you are getting a lot of noise still.

Are you useing the 5" or 11" coil? Silent running here with the 5".

i got both coils and I'll try the 11", but I think at 80 or higher it might be noisy, my 5" runs quite in any mode but this PF mode is super. your settings are working great for me.

I don't have the 11" i got the 5" and the Nel Sharpshooter. I would think maybe you would have to turn it down a bit with a bigger coil.

As said I was running your settings with the 11" coil and didn't have any problems, and I hunted for several hours that way. I was using the std F75 not the Ltd.

Ya think my gb needs a little work if i temember right
it was 90 after fastgrab i know thats default might have to go bacl too
drawing board. Just got a new 5" coil will try that out too.

Ok I tried the 11" coil with goldies setup on an area well worked picked up a few shotgun shells and 1 1917 wheatie at roughly 8.5"s. the hunt was about 2 hours, guess that site is pretty well worked out. But have to says that with the PF mode at 87 SEN 15 Disc GB 65 no notch with the 11" coil was as quite as the 5" coil so I switched back to BP mode and she was noisey, switched back and forth and you could notice a difference from no chatter to noisy. tomorrow I'm useing the 5" coil and my 1270 w/5" coil and see if there is a deference, I believe the 1270 to be as comparably to the F75 LTD in the PF mode.

Okay I ran the PF settings with the 5" coil, but I messed up and forgot to turn the sensitivity up so I ran about 90% of the day with sensitivity set at 60. When I changed the sensitivity up to 90 my next 2 coins were wheat pennies a 1910 and a 1917, they were only about 5" deep.

It was running quiet even when I was at sensitivity 90.

Quite was the plus, going to use it with my 1270 with both 5"coils on each one qand cross check each signal.

As i said I used the F75 with the 11" coil at an old school with goldmen55 setting, and the machine was not as stable as the 5" coil. Switched back to the 5" coil an she calmed right down, also had my 1270 w/5"coil to work side by side. I would find a good signal with the F75 then check it with the 1270, most coins were from 6-8"'s down soil was damp not soaking wet.totaled out with 2 Washington (about 9"'s) Q's, 5 wheaties, 6 zinc Lincoln's, 3 clad Q's an 2 clad dimes. All coins came in exactly the same the 2 silver Q's varied a little the F75 was a little scratchy but the numbers were on the money at constant 82 and only 3 bars on the confed. meter. the 1270 rang out with a solid tone in all directions. The area was a little trashy. All in all both detectors did about the same, the 1270 was a lot more stable when working over the coal ash dump. The school was built in the 1890's and closed in 1958.

I was out today for about 2hr's with the Nel Sharpshooter. Ran really quite on 70sen took it all the way down to 40 sen was hitting 6" to 9" the 8 3/4" was a clad quarter tape measure was at 8 3/4" which is great. It was good sound numbers right on. Haven't been able to get out much Grand baby been sick he is a papa boy.
