General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Fisher Gold Bug Pro DP with extra 5x10 DD coil For Sale

On November 14 of this year, I purchased a brand new Fisher Gold Bug Pro DP (DP- deep penetrating.......in other words.....it comes standard with the 11 inch ellitical DD coil). I used this unit in my test garden. And then took it on two hunts. I took a pic of the coil bottom so that you can see that I didn't have time to scruff up the bottom of the coil as I usually do....given time.
On November 21, I ordered the 5"x10" ellitiptical DD coil (it's white) as an accessory to my Gold Bug Pro. It has never been out of the package. It is brand spanking new.
I will sale the Gold Bug Pro for $425........and the extra coil for $110 dollars (shipped via UPS Ground). OR.....I will ship them together for $525. That is my bottom dollar. I don't need a trade. Need cash. Paypal users use the GIFT function of add 3 %. Postal Money Order also accepted. I will ship when Money order is cashed by the postal clerk. Paypal users......I will ship the following day. Here are some pics of vital areas. On this machine, there is a light scuff, that in no way reduces visibility on the screen. How it got there I haven't a clue. But it's there. I took a pic of it so that you can decide BEFORE you buy whether you want it or not.

EDIT: Paypal users, please DO NOT use the GIFT function in the purchase of this unit. Please use the GOODS and SERVICES. I will eat the 3% (more accurately 3.5%) fee. Also.....price is lowered to $500 SHIPPED for unit with both coils.
 
The 5x10 DD coil has SOLD!!!! The Gold Bug Pro DP (which means that it comes with an 11 inch DD elliptical coil) remains and I have dropped the price to $400 SHIPPED! Pleas use PM function to chat so that we don't run other folk's detectors off of the first page. The Gold Bug DP is still on the facy shmancy dining table just like I left it after photographing it. If you need a like new Gold Bug DP.........then here's your chance. I will ship UPS Ground (a bit safer) or USPS Prioirty Mail (if you live on the west coast and want the unit quicker. The unit is FULLY FUNCTIONAL. I am only selling it because I bought an XP Deus and I aim on learning that one machine. It's my opinion that they are fairly equal in depth. But this is not the place for a detector comparison. This was going to be my Primary detector until I received a somewhat unexpected bonus for Christmas. Immediately......my mind said: "Find a used Deus!!!!!". So, when you get your Christmas bonus from work.....remember my Gold Bug Pro. Here is an FYI that you likely already know: This unit is (internally) identical to the Teknetics G2. But the head on this unit is solidly mated to the rod. No wiggle. If I don't sale it.......I may just do some vids with it at some new places (when I find some new places). These TV shows are making it increasingly difficult to gain permission. Everyone seems to think that they have Fort Knox under their dandelion patches. LOL
 
They only purchased the 5 x 10 coil. But I agree.....they got that coil at a VERY VERY good price. As for the Fisher Gold Bug Pro DP: No longer for sale. It ain't eatin much and I ain't starving. I reckon I'll keep it around and let it age like a fine wine. Merry Christmas to all!!!
